We win again
Just spend 4 hours watching the World Ice-skating championship live from Germany. The results were pretty much predictable, though I thought that a knight had appeared already, I guess not yet. Brian got the silver and Plushenko (of course) got the gold. I can’t even say that it was unfair – it was fair. Yes I admit it – I don’t pretty much like Plushenko as I’m a fan of Yagudin who is a professional now. He’s helping 19 year old Brian Joulbert (God I hope his last name is spelled like that, if not I’ll correct it later) who is French – preparing him for new battles with Plushenko.
Brian made a great performance tonight, the only problem is – Plushenko had more difficult elements in his. Even the fact that Plushenko made a quite unprofessional fall did not stop him from reserving the title “King on Ice” (google it up if you wanna know what I’m talking about).
Anyway things will never be the same without Yagudin who for many of us shall always remain the true King of the Ring.
